This beautiful boat was skillfully rebuilt over a period of 20 years, and has been responsibly stored and maintained since. It is almost certainly better than new, with top-grade materials, equipment and workmanship
March 5, 2022. As I was building this website, to help sell the boat, I decided that she belonged on Pentwater Lake. I arranged for that, and she will be moved here within the next few weeks.
August 23, 2024. Mr Stackpole apparently had a fatal heart attack just as he was finishing the rebuilding. I have been unsuccwessful in contacting his heirs. The successive owner also developed heart issues. In their honor, I have named the boat SweetHeart.
The boat has lived happily in Pentwater since 2022, spending summers at a dock on Pentwater Lake and winters indoors at Patterson Marine. She was named Best Wooden Boat at the 2022 Pentwater Yacht Club Wooden and Classic Boat Show.
